| May Monthly Meeting |
The May meeting will be held on TUESDAY, May 9, 2000 at Dakota's Restaurant
located at 629 Hwy 190 North, in Covington. Networking will begin at 11:30 AM,
luncheon will be served at 12:00 Noon. Guests are welcome.
RSVP to Valarie Comeaux at 893-3580 Ext 341 by 10:00 AM Friday, May 5th.
RSVP's are required!!!
In order to secure a place setting for you at the restaurant it is imperative
that we have an accurate count of who is attending, so PLEASE be sure to RSVP
by the deadline above.
The meal will be ordered from the Menu Choice of the Day. Member Cost is
$15.00; Non-Member Cost is $18.00 (Includes Tax & Tip). |
| President's Message |
Thank you again for allowing me to serve as your President.
I look forward with the support of the membership to take our organization forward.
We have made great strides this past year. We doubled our membership and are the
largest BPW organization in the state. We held our first National Business Women's
and Young Careerist programs. We hope to have even bigger and better programs for
the upcoming year. The crowning event will be next June when we host the 2001
State Convention.
GET INVOLVED in one of our many committees we plan for this year. Only with
everyone's participation on some level will we truly be a successful and
recognized organization in the community.

Greetings! In an ongoing effort to increase our membership we are
considering a membership drive/contest later in the summer. I welcome
any ideas you may have to implement this plan. I do appreciate your
thoughts and efforts in this regard.
